so, we picked up this nice french café entryway rack and tried to find a bench to complement the piece… couldn’t find anything like it so, i decided to design and build a bench. mostly, made of poplar with some pine and birch. the horizontal pine dowels are set in loose to have some give on the person seated and are an accent that is pulled from the coat racks platform… and, will be stained in the same dark brown color as the rack.
